Organic Movements cordially invites you to their second annual Autumn Charity Gala, benefiting SOS Children's Village, on Saturday, August 23rd, 2013.


ABOUT SOS CHILDRENS VILLAGES


SOS Children's Villages - Florida is a foster care neighborhood in Coconut Creek. It is a tree-lined street with twelve houses, which are home to up to seventy-five boys and girls. They assure every child growing up in the Village a safe and secure home, a nurturing family, a vibrant childhood and array of services to help them overcome their past traumas and build a successful future.

The children have been removed from their homes and families by the courts because of abuse, abandonment and neglect. The Village allows for brothers and sisters, who are typically separated while in foster care, to reunite and maintain their family connection. SOS also provides an 18+ After Care program to help their young adults transition out of foster care after they turn eighteen.

Profits from this event will help SOS provide basic needs, childhood activities as well as vital services like therapy, tutoring and life skills for the 75 boys and girls who call the Village home.
